New Sizzix die from Stampin' Up

Love this Paper Bow die from Stampin' Up (in the Holiday Mini).
I scanned the bows, so keep that in mind. I guess I was a little lazy today. The large bow from loop to loop is almost 4" across. The tales are glued on so you can also put them on the bow from the center down. The tales also fit the smaller bow.   The smaller bow is 3" across from loop to loop. Think about the possibilities with this die.  All the different materials you can use.  Can't wait to create some beautiful Christmas bows.  I won't be buying any packaged bows anymore.

Growing Up to Fast

It seems like I have only been scrapbooking my grandson was two years instead of four years and next month he is starting K4.  Time flies!!

I love the simplicity of this layout.  The basic colors are Kraft, Early Espresso and Whisper White from Stampin' Up.  I think the strip of burlap ribbon added just the right amount of texture to the layout.

Hope you like it.

July Scrapbook class

We had a great time scrapbooking last Monday.  I am always astonished at the beautiful pages each person creates from my layouts.  My main subjects to scrapbook are my grandchildren.  I cannot tell you how much I love them.

Just a note, the flower on the top left hand corner was punched out of a coffee filter.

Happy 4th of July!!

Bubbled over with fun!

I love to scrapbook my grand kids.  I think kids are the best subjects for photo shoots.  They are so spontaneous and fun.  So, it's my job to capture those moments and document them in each of their scrapbooks.  I hope their scrapbooks last forever so they have them to pass on to their children one day.

The DSP is retired from Stampin' Up and the letters are from Sizzix called Word Play.

Mr. and Mrs.

Today is hubby's birthday, Happy Birthday to you, Doug!!  We are going to the show and early dinner than picking up the Grand kids for the night, so I thought I would add this wedding card before we leave.

I am all about quick and easy cards that look elegant.  That's one of the reasons I love this stamp from Stampin' Up.   The white background paper is the speciality paper from Michael's.  A friend of mine had left overs from her daughter's wedding so she gave it to me to use.  Thanks Dawn.

Thank you again

Because I love the color combination of black, yellow, white and gray I decided to make a card using them.  This is a fun spring/summer card.  I used stickle for the body of the butterfly.

Tip:  If you don't have a butterfly punch or die, punch or cut out two hearts and put them together to form a butterfly.

Thank You

This thank you card is so appropriate to come back with after being away so long.  I am so sorry it took so long to learn the new format of blogspot.  I hope to start posting new ideas weekly.
